Orange Anglican Grammar School is a community that is steadily growing not just in size, but in opportunities and reputation. Offering a Christian education from Prep to Year 12, OAGS prepares every student emotionally and spiritually on their pathway to success.

Why OAGS?

Our Students

In a world where a child’s potential is often reduced to numbers and rankings, we understand that every child is on a unique journey. At OAGS we recognise and nurture each child’s potential by championing self-discovery, academic depth and real-world skills. Our graduates are known for their grounded and determined confidence, inspired to aim not just for personal success, but to uplift others.

Learning

We offer a breadth of opportunities that carefully balance head knowledge (the traditional curriculum), heart knowledge (who am I and how do I fit into this world?) and hand knowledge (practical skills). Learning at OAGS is about strengthening the individual and giving them the opportunity to develop their gifts and talents, preparing them for success.

“I have been so happy since moving to OAGS. I have made some great friends, there are lots of opportunities to get involved in music and I can represent the School through lots of different sports. I also love being in Cadets. All of my teachers have been so kind and go out of their way to help whenever I ask.”

Community

Every family is welcomed to OAGS and students are secure in the knowledge that they belong. As a Christian school, the pursuit of personal excellence is encouraged but more importantly, we urge our students to champion the success of others, which we believe truly sets us apart in our connected community.

Duke of Edinburgh

This program inspires students to learn new skills and instils selflessness through volunteering and community activities.

Peer support

Students are encouraged to support their peers by sharing experiences and create a safe space of understanding and acceptance.

GROW

Senior students come together through ‘GROW’ to lead a lunchtime group with a focus on our faith and Christ’s teachings to pray for the School.

Students also attend regional agricultural shows, march in the annual ANZAC parade and showcase creative and performing arts (CAPA) so the broader community can experience the wonderful creativity of our students.

Christian Faith

As a Christian school, our faith inspires every student to pursue their passions for the betterment of the world. We are proud to champion learning that instils compassion for others and encourages the pursuit of excellence by a life of service.
